Chronology of the NY State Publishing compliance process. Same Day of placing order: Initiation of the compliance process:
  • Emailing you an official document confirming the compliance initiation.
  • Reaching out to the local county clerk to obtain the designations of the Daily and weekly newspaper.
Next up:
  • Preparation of the legal ad notice, generating the language for the Legal Notice to fit requirements in accordance with the NYS Publishing Law.
  • Placement of two notices in the two county designated newspapers.
  • Paying the newspaper fees for your legal ads.
Six weeks:
  • Your LLC is running its course in the two newspapers, one Daily and one Weekly, pursuant to the NY STATE publishing law.
  • Upon completion of the six weeks, Affidavits of Publication will be issued by the two newspapers.
  • Upon receiving the two affidavits we will forward them to the NY Department of State, we pay the associated fee, the DOS will now review the documents and issue the final publishing Filing Receipt.
10 business days:
  • It takes the NY DOS approximately 10 business days to issue the publishing filing receipt.
  • Once the DOS issues the Publishing Filing Receipt, we forward the document to you right away, this Filing Receipt serves as confirmation of the LLC’s full compliance with New York Publishing Law.
  • Now you are all good, your entity successfully complied with the NY STATE Publishing Law!
